Vatika Winner!

I've been incredibly lazy and late for the last week concerning...well, most things >.<

But according to random.org, the winner is...

Libby!

Please can you e-mail me at asimplething [at] hotmail [dot] co [uk] with an address to send the Vatika Oil to?

Thank you very much to everyone who decided to take part!

Can I get me some Vatika please?

One of the things that usually drives me nuts is when it seems everyone in their blogs and the forums are going nuts for a product or ingredient and you can't get your hands on it. It's a major pain in the backside.

One such hard to get your hands on product is Vatika Oil. I quite like this oil - I'm not sure if it's any more incredible than ordinary coconut oil, but I quite like it the smell and am not bothered to make my own, so it's likely to stay in my arsenal for a while. If you want to know more about Vatika Oil, check out this post by Shelli at Hairscapades.

Let's get onto the actual purpose of this post. Whilst visiting the family for Christmas, I went into our not so local Indian grocers (because they actually have one within a 5 mile radius, unlike my pedestrianising self up North) I picked up another bottle.

One for me, and one for you.

It's a 300ml (10.14 fl oz) bottle, so slightly bigger than my last giveaway, and the instructions are simple.

1) Comment on this post and include the word 'Vatika' in your comment somewhere.

The giveaway ends on the 1st of March 2012 23:59 GMT.

Winners will be picked by random - probably out of a hat because that's how I roll.

Good luck!

Bee Mine Winner!

Okay. I have to admit that when I logged on and saw the final comment number, I thought it was a mistake and my dashboard was glitching.

After pressing refresh several  times, I realised it was due to the incredible kindness of JC from The Natural Haven by linking to this little giveaway! So I want to give a massive thank you to JC and a massive thank you to everyone who left comments - obviously, we are a bit giveaway starved over on this side of the pond. So I'm thinking there will definitely be more giveaways (probably after I graduate) so please look out for them!

I didn't know how to choose because I wasn't really expecting any interest. >.< I literally considered buying a sample for everyone who commented.
However, instead I copped out and went to random.org and randomised a number.

The 18th eligible person on the comments list was : Rynae!

Thank you for taking part! Please e-mail your address to asimplething[at]hotmail[dot]co[dot]uk by Wednesday so I can send off your prize!

See you guys next time!

Who wants a Bee Mine Sample?

So, a while ago, I bought the Bee Mine Avocado Cream Balanced Conditioner Sampler.

I don't really want to use it because I don't really need it.

I leant my library card against it for size comparison

It's about 2 fl Oz/30ml.

It's small. But it's free.

What it says on the back:  This nourishing conditioner is enriched with pro-vitamins, extracts, & proteins that compact the cuticle layer of the hair resulting in nourished hair that is not weighed down. It will leave your hair silky, soft, bouncy and more manageable

Dang...I'm almost tempted to keep it for myself!

Ingredients:

Aloe barbadensis (Organic Aloe) Juice, Lavendula angustifolia (Organic Lavender) Distillate, Anthemis nobilis (Organic Roman Chamomile) Distillate, Cetearyl Alcohol (vegetable-based emulsifier), Ricinus communis (Castor Seed) Oil, Avocado Butter, Avocado Oil,  Stearalkonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, d-Calcium Pantothenate (Panthenol Vitamin B5), Panthenol (Vitamin B Complex), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Rosa mosqueta (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Salix nigra (Organic Black Willow Bark) Extract, Fragrance.

So..Who wants it?
Please leave a comment by midnight GMT on the 3rd of April and I'll make a decision on Monday the 4th.

Unfortunately, I think this is only going to be open to UK and European Residents only! That's the only condition(er).

Okay.

We'll pretend that joke never happened.
